Everybody knows I have a thing for the Spice Girls. Well, if you didn't already know. Now you do. It happened in Japan. What can I say?

So far the ex-Spice's solo efforts have been status quo at best. They still release CDs in the UK. I did rate them:

1] Melanie Brown - Scary
2] Emma Bunton - Baby
3] Victoria Beckham - Posh
4] Melanie C - Sporty
5] Geri Halliwell - Ginger

After hearing Emma's new songs from her Free Me CD [released last week in the UK]. I have to say that I'm changing my order. The CD is really good from what I've heard of it so far. The songs have a 60's retro motown feel to them. I'd say the best to come from a former Spice. And she's really cute too. I highly recommend Maybe [Austin Powers-esque], I'll Be There [all motown], Crickets Sing For Anamaria [latin shaker]. The videos for these new singles are also really nice. And I'll Be There just makes me feel good. You can see the vids here.

In addition to Emma, Victoria Beckham has also been putting out new singles herself. Barely sung on any Spice Girls songs except for backup vocals. These days she's better known for being Mrs. David Beckham. She's been collaborating with Roc-A-Fella Damon Dash and spit out some pretty hot songs. I heard her stuff and was actually surprised. Considering her first CD was pretty blah. Her double A-Side Let Your Head Go [great dance song]/This Groove [remake of the System's Don't Disturb This Groove] was released at the end of 2003 is blazin hot. Super catchy, nice beats check the vids here. Not to mention she looks way hotter with the long brown hair. I wonder what the full length CD is going to be like. If it goes in the same direction as this AA Side, it might have a shot. Not as good as Emma, but hey. It's better than before.
