04.16.2003 - 3 Pears
I was downloading some music a few nights ago around 10:30pm. My ma comes in from work and my dad asks her if she brought the pears he asked for [he was having stomach problems and pears are the only things that make him regular these days]. She told him the she forgot. He told her that he didn't believe her because he told her like 15 times. He repeated this about 5 or 6 times
saying "It's impossible for you to forget, you didn't bring them on purpose." He told her to go and get the pears ASAP. She said she'd go and get them while he was still bitching about it. She just yelled and said "I said I was going, stop talking about the pears!"
He then told her to forget about the pears. He didn't want her to get them. He came to me all gentle sweetheart-like asking me to get the pears [which I didn't have a problem doing]. I told him I'd bring the pears as long as he dropped the incident [he has a tendency to draw out problems as if they are still going on. Even after they are solved]. He agreed and I went upstairs. My mom was already dressed for the repeat trip to the store. She went downstairs and told him she was getting the pears. He looked me with this crazy look and said "If she brings any pears, I'm gonna throw them away." I thought that was hilarious. So my mom stayed home while I got the pears and it was pretty much over.
By the way, I asked my dad how he was doing yesterday and he said he was doing way better. Thanks to the pears.
