12.04.2002 - "I Wasn't Crazy About the Thumbprint, But the Soup was Really Satisfying"

Someone at work brought up Dinty Moore soup which opened the floodgates to the old commercial. You know, the one where an elderly woman leaves her wood cabin to go pick flowers or some crap and Dinty Moore breaks into her house and makes a big pot of stew. He eats his stew, leaves a huge thumbprint on the counter top and then takes off. The old woman is telling the story and ends it with "I Wasn't Crazy About the Thumbprint, But the Soup was Really Satisfying."

First of all, why the crap would you break into someone's house to cook stew? That is just retarded. I wonder if he brought his own ingredients from the woods. Who knows? Nobody at work does FO SHO. None of them saw the commercial. How about you?
