11.04.2002 - Posh Spice Gets Kidnapped, I Mean Plotted Against

Cream Soda LollipopThis article and image was copied from NME.com. It has to be the most retarded plot ever. Theft of Jeweled turbans and heads pasted on childrens' bodies. Way too much. Kryssa had this to say about the photo. "That's disgusting. That looks like a lollipop with a face. Girlfriend, keep in mind, that's what Karen Carpenter looked like when she died. A Lollipop. It's a big ole lollipop (head) on a stick (body)." I threw in "she is a lollipop with Cream Soda hair."

"Five men arrested in connection with the alleged plot to kidnap VICTORIA BECKHAM are due to appear before magistrates at HORSEFERRY ROAD in LONDON today (November 4), after being charged with theft and conspiracy to rob.

As previously reported on NME.COM, nine people were arrested in a series of police raids in London on Saturday (November 2) in connection with the alleged plot, which was said to involve kidnapping Beckham, and her two children if they were with her, and demanding a £5 million ransom from her husband, footballer David Beckham.

According to the BBC, police inquiries into the alleged conspiracy are continuing and the five men are to be released on police bail until November 18.

Azem Krifsha, 30, from Kosovo, is charged with theft and handling of a jewelled turban valued at £60,000, belonging to auctioneers Sotheby's.

Joseph Rivas, 24, of Brixton, is charged with theft and handling of a jewelled turban valued at £60,000, belonging to Sotheby's and conspiracy to rob an employee of an unknown amount.

Rusu Sorin, 31, born in Romania, is also charged with theft and handling of a jewelled turban valued at £60,000, belonging to Sotheby's.

Two other Romanian men - Adrian Razvan Pasareanu, 28 , Alin Turcu, 18 - are both charged with conspiracy to rob an employee of Sotheby's of an unknown amount.

All are now resident in London and surrounding areas.

Of the other four people arrested over the weekend, one woman has been released without charge, while two men and one woman are on police bail pending inquiries unconnected to the alleged theft and kidnap matters.

The arrests were made over the weekend by officers from Scotland Yard's Serious and Organised Crime Command unit.

The Beckhams, with children Brooklyn, three, and baby Romeo, are currently keeping a low profile in Cheshire, while security at their home in Hertfordshire is reviewed."
