07.22.2002 - "Me and My Family Have Been Through a Very Tumultuous Time and I Just Want to Say No, I Am Not Married...Not At All."
So one of my best best friends got married on Saturday. The ceremony was nice. Amie's dress was very hot and Tony looked like a playa playa. The only bugger was the fact that it was like 88 degrees and I was dripping wet. And to make matters worse,
Shazy was telling me I looked all knappy and greasy during the ceremony. We was so hot that myself and Sarah [my wedding date] went
to 7-11 to slurpee it up before the reception. The wackest person was manning the cash register. He was pakistani and his name was Javed. Anyways, he was saying "Be Cool, Man!!" to members of both sexes in a kind of high pitched voice.
At one point, he let out this loud girly laugh. It reminded me of Gargee. C-Pax would know about Gargee, but I know he never read my Brains, so that was kinda useless. Anyways, this attendant was wack and made us want to leave
but at the same time, listen to more of this juiced up Gargee.
Al, Elissa, C-Pax and Ricky met us at the reception. And all I did was eat, drink and take pictures. Some of the highlights...
- Seeing some people I graduated with that I haven't seen in a long time
- Grabbing Ricky's neck and making him scream like a girl
- Seeing that Randy Tedora is still a very small person
- Al reinstated the legendary zombie dance and towe up the dance floor
- Shazy and her date with their hands on museum
- Shazy and her date with their eternal embrace
- Freaking Sarah out with my crazy slow dance
- Pauly's worst Best Man speech ever in the history of the world
- The sometimes Italian, rest of the time Cheese Time live band
- At least there was no Macarena
- The Out of Control 8 course meal
- The pain and headache I had the next morning at work
This song is theme of the night, inspired by the couple that can't keep they hands off each other.
Spice Girls - Stop
"You just walk in, I make you smile,
It cool but you don't even know me,
You take an inch, I run a mile,
Can't win you're always right behind me
And we know that you could go and find some other,
Take or leave it or just don't even bother,
caught in a craze, it's just a phase,
Or will this be around forever
Don't you know it's going too fast,
Racing so hard you know it won't last,
Don't you know, what can't you see,
Slow it down, read the sign, so you know just where you are going
Stop right Now Thank you very much,
I need somebody with the human touch,
Hey you you always on the run,
Gotta slow down baby, got have some fun
Do Do Do Do Do
Do Do Do Do Do
Do Do Do Do Do
Always be together,
Ba da Ba Ba
Ba da Ba Ba
Ba da Ba Ba
Stay that way forever
And we know that you could go and find some other,
Take or leave it cos we've always got each other,
You know who you are and yes, you're gonna breakdown,
You've crossed the line so you're gonna have to turnaround
Don't you know it's going too fast,
Racing so hard you know it won't last,
Don't you know what can't you see,
Slow it down, read the sign, so you know just where you are going
Stop right Now Thank you very much,
I need somebody with the human touch,
Hey you you always on the run,
Gotta slow down baby, got have some fun
Gotta keep it down honey, lay your back on the line,
Cos I don't care about the money, don't be wasting my time,
You need less speed, get off my case,
You gotta slow it down baby, just get out of my face
Stop right Now Thank you very much,
I need somebody with the human touch,
Hey you you always on the run,
Gotta slow down baby, got have some fun
Stop right Now Thank you very much,
I need somebody with the human touch,
Hey you you always on the run,
Gotta slow down baby, got have some fun
Stop right Now Thank you very much,
I need somebody with the human touch,
Hey you you always on the run,
Gotta slow down baby, got have some fun
Stop right Now, we wanna thank you,
Stop right Now, thank you very much"
Happy Wedding, Amie and Tony. I hope you liked the card. And I'll put up pictures when I don't work 1:30 - 12 on a Sunday.
