11.17.2001 - Thai Trouble

I mentioned some events that occured at this restaurant last time with the crazy outspoken waitress. It wasn't half as entertaining as it was this time around. I had 3:00 lunch/dinner there with Amie and Nikki. The food was pretty good as usual. Their limey soup is really good and the coconut ice cream is too. But the best part about eating there is the dramatic waitresses. She has a fiance that she tells everyone about all of the time. Anyways, she came and dropped off some menus and jumped up on the phone making loud frantic pleads to talk to her man in a latina voice. So we got this Thai latina demanding to talk to her man. When she finally got him on the phone she said "Baby, I have tears coming out of my eyes, do you care? Can you hear me crying?" Someone need to tell that waitress that we was the wrong people to do that in front of. We kept saying things "Can you hear tears coming out of my eyes?" and crap like that. Good times. Later on she was homegirl talking to a customer about pregnancies and nasty stuff like that. Amie is convinced that our waitress had multiple personalities. I don't care how many personalities she has as long as she keeps it up. If you are looking for some awesome Thai Dinner Theatre go to Bangkok Star in Allen Park.
