05.29.2003 - The Wet Scarf Crisis
I don't know why I ever did this but I'm freakin paying for it with my lungs. This past winter I used my wool scarf to protect me from the sub-zero temperatures of Toronto. The scarf got wet in the process. I left it in my car with the rest of the junk that was in there. Last week, I started smelling this strong mildewy nasty in my car. I was wracking my brain trying to find the source. This past weekend I realized it was the scarf. I immediately removed and washed it. I guess it was too little, too late. My car smells putrid. The scarf was on the ground behind the driver's seat. I sprayed febreeze on the carpet and mat. That didn't do a damn thing. My lungs are plugged up with this gross ass smell whenever I get into my car. I open the windows and over a short period of time it makes the problem exponentially worse. I have to move into the next phase of my battle with stank. Hopefully it will be successful. If it isn't, I'm wearing a SARS mask from now on.
