Lately my dad has been complaining about the air in our house being too dry. He says he is getting bloody noses and cracky skin. Of course he has a solution for the dry air problem, albeit ghetto. He filled up 3 pots with water and heated them on the stovetop to humidify the house.

Two nights ago, I get rudely awaken by my sister who comes into my room and screaming about the smell and how dumb my dad is. He fell asleep while humidifying the house. One of the pots [A frying pan with non-stick coating] was out of water. So the coating was pretty much burning and stanking up the house. She was so pissed. She also commented on how my ma was gonna be pissed when she finds out. She forced him to renounce his ghetto ways and get a real humidifier. She also went far enough to buy it on her own because he likes to shop at Big Lots and Aco Hardware for everything.

I saw him last night and said "So, I heard you were trying to burn the house down yesterday. Good job."
