I have decided to learn Japanese way better than I knew it before. Partly because I have a job prospect that may be really really good. I just have to convince them that I am fluent in Japanese. Yeah, I can carry a conversation but that isn't enough anymore. At one time I knew and could read 500 kanji characters [3,000 kanji are needed to be able to read a newspaper]. Now, I can just recognize them. I need to be able to watch Japanese television and understand it all.

By the way, last night I went to the Solex/esQuire show with Al and Ricky. It was good times. Detroit Contemporary is a good place to see a show. The only thing that I am not too crazy about is the ghetto parking in the ghetto neighborhood. Not very good for the cars. But most of the cars parked were nice considering all the people that go to those shows are go against the grain money havin suburbanites.
