I finally gave in and went to the unemployment office after almost 2 months of denial. I thought that I'd be able to get another job by now. The economy sucks and the industry is still soft. I felt like applying for unemployment was in a way giving up. I was dumb, I should have been collecting this whole time. I would've been able to pay all of my bills in full and save money.

I had to wait for hours in that office with all of those toothless people. That was a real eye opener. I felt like I was trapped in Taylor Meijer and was forced to stay until I got my business taken care of. I brought a book and read like 1.5 chapters but had to stop due to noise from the people around me and restlessness. I hated sitting there and waiting for help. I mean I have a freakin college degree in Computer Science, that waiting in line crap ain't for me. Guess that doesn't mean much anymore. That big chip on my shoulder is now a fleck of dust. At least I have a steady income now and have more time to go to shows and do non-work things. Almost forgot, I hate you Blue Cross.
