Brad, Melissa and myself headed over to the Tastefest after work on Tuesday night. This is the account of what happened. We walked around for while looking for food. We ran into some people that we knew. We also saw Derrick May's set.

After Derrick May's set we headed over towards the Jazz stage. They were playing "It's Oh So Quiet" from Bjork. These two wack people were doing interpretive dance/new age freak dances. I just watched them in awe as they were doing this.

We also played Detroit Fear in the GM Building. The whole place is being renovated so we decided to inspect it. We explored about 4 floors including Number 13, wooooo. The architecture of the building is really cool. The city views were cool too. It still has old school water fountains and mail slots. So we were trying to open locked doors and explore the hidden areas of the building. We ended up in a stairwell with flickering lights, yeah!! Melissa was super scared, especially when the lights were flickering like in Aliens the movie. We stumbled upon a subfloor between floor 1 and 2. We found a boiler room area and crouched into it. We walked all the way to the end of the wall on a catwalk thing. Melissa didn't like it at all. She thought we were gonna get caught or something. We kept hearing noises and stuff and she was getting freaked out. I had to pee so I went to the bathroom and flushed the toilet. We didn't get caught or anything but it was fun.

Before leaving the Tastefest, we checked out the art gallery in the lobby of the Fisher Building. Little did we know that the woman there was a superfreak. She latched onto Melissa and kept pointing to her artwork and kept saying "that's me." I was like "look artist, if you is a real artist you don't do that to someone you don't know." Later, her husband made a comment about paying for his kids. She said this while pointing to her stomach. "You don't have any kids. It's all here waiting to be fertilized." That was really awkward. Ok, remind me to stay away from her forever.
